Data Processing Addendum

This addendum describes how TimeAJob (operated by IPE Projects (Pty) Ltd) processes personal data on your behalf as you use the product to manage your own clients' information. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Roles

For your own account data (your login, your business settings), TimeAJob is the data controller. For the personal data of your clients that you enter into TimeAJob — names, email addresses, billing details — you are the data controller and TimeAJob acts as your data processor, processing that data only to provide the service (storing it, generating invoices/estimates, sending emails on your behalf).

Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors to run TimeAJob. This is the complete list — nothing else touches your data.

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Render — application hosting.
• Anthropic — powers three optional AI features (receipt scanning, payment reminder drafting, rate suggestions). Only the specific data each feature needs is sent, per request, and never used to train any model.
• Resend — delivers transactional email (invoices, reminders, notifications) on your behalf.
• Paddle.com — acts as merchant of record for billing; processes payment details directly, which TimeAJob never sees.

If this list changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. A material addition will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice by email before it takes effect.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate and support the service.

International transfers

Our sub-processors above operate infrastructure in multiple regions, including the United States and EU. Where personal data crosses borders, our providers rely on their own standard safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for that transfer.

Data subject requests

If one of your clients contacts you asking to see or delete the data you hold on them in TimeAJob, you're the controller responsible for that request — but we're glad to help. Email support@timeajob.com and we'll support you in fulfilling it.
