These terms govern your use of TimeAJob, a time-tracking and invoicing tool for freelancers and small agencies. By creating an account, you agree to them.
TimeAJob is operated by IPE Projects (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (registration number 2021/003176/07).
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (Solo, Small Team, Team, Agency) and the extra-seat add-on are billed as recurring monthly subscriptions, processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com, who acts as merchant of record and handles payment, tax, and invoicing. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Every plan includes the same full feature set — pricing changes only by how many people are on the account.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard's sidebar, or by emailing support@timeajob.com if you'd rather we do it for you. Cancelling stops future billing, and you keep access to your current plan's features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for — then your account drops to the Free plan.
We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel partway through a month, you won't be charged again, but we don't refund the unused portion of the current period.
Your data and content
You own the client, project, time-entry, invoice, and expense data you enter into TimeAJob. We store it to provide the service — tracking your time, generating invoices, and running the reports and AI features described in our Privacy Policy. When you delete your account, we remove your stored data within a reasonable time.
Acceptable use
Don't use TimeAJob for any unlawful purpose, to store data you don't have the right to hold, or to attempt to circumvent rate limits or account restrictions. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.
No warranty, limited liability
TimeAJob is provided "as is." We work to keep the service reliable and your data accurate, but issues outside our control (hosting outages, third-party API changes) can occasionally affect availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any issue is limited to the amount you paid us in the month the issue occurred.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, where IPE Projects (Pty) Ltd is registered.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
